WhatsApp Web – how to connect from a computer (guide)
To use WhatsApp on a computer, open web.whatsapp.com and scan the QR code shown there with WhatsApp on your phone, under Linked devices. The phone does not have to stay connected afterwards.

Go to the official WhatsApp Web website →Step by step
- On the computer, open web.whatsapp.com in your browser. A QR code appears.
- On the phone, open WhatsApp and tap the menu (Android: the three dots; iPhone: Settings), then Linked devices.
- Tap Link a device and unlock the phone if asked.
- Point the phone at the QR code on the computer screen. Your chats appear within a few seconds.
If it does not work
The QR code does not scan: make the browser window larger, clean the phone camera and reload the page to get a new code.
Disconnected: check that the phone and the computer are online, and that no more than four devices are linked.
